Figure 7.2: A time series of panels representing the number of honeybees dancing for various hive locations on the surface of an actual swarm. Each arrow represents the direction and distance to a potential hive site, with the width of the arrow indicating the number of dances for that particular site. The swarm identifies eleven different sites during the search.
